The company traces its origins to 1982, when founder Antonino Siclari began developing industrial vacuum technology in Turin; production started in 1991 and the current Settimo Torinese plant was established in 2000. Delfin classifies its equipment by the dust type it is designed to handle: combustible, contaminating, toxic, hindering, and valuable dust. For combustible and explosive dust, the company offers ATEX-certified vacuum solutions for zones 21 and 22, compliant with Directive 2014/34/EU and standard EN 17348:2022, using two-stage filtration with a Class M dissipative primary filter and an H14 absolute filter, plus immersion neutralization for reactive metal dusts such as aluminum and titanium.
