Mucon is a flow control brand within Coperion's Food, Health & Nutrition division, headquartered at Rupert House, Poynton, Stockport, United Kingdom. Founded in the 1940s, the company has more than 70 years of experience supplying valves and discharge aids for powder and bulk solids handling. Its product range includes iris diaphragm valves in AD, A2P, E, H, JS, K, and K2P series, the Oyster hygienic butterfly valve, the SV slide gate valve, and the Rotalog rotary paddle level probe used for bin and hopper level detection. Diaphragm materials include food-grade white rubber, anti-static rubber and nylon, and PTFE-coated fabrics, with stated operating temperatures from -75 to 250 degrees Celsius depending on the material chosen.
