Coperion reports that REPCO replaced an older bucket-elevator transfer between mixing and packaging with an Omniveyor dense-phase pressure conveying system. The stated package included the pressure vessel, controls, piping, a diverter valve, hopper lids and bin vents. Reported improvements remain supplier- and customer-attributed project statements, not PBV guarantees.

Engineering questions behind the case

A similar modernization should begin with recipe ranges, segregation sensitivity, batch size, required transfer time, route geometry and the receiving packaging process. Review residual product, changeover method, filter loading, air quality, access for inspection, cleaning validation and how the controls preserve batch identity. The correct conveying regime depends on the material and duty rather than on the case label alone.

REPCO is the process owner and end user. Coperion K-Tron is the documented equipment supplier. This distinction prevents equipment capabilities, certifications or warranties from being attributed to REPCO and keeps acceptance criteria tied to the actual contractual battery limits.
