STUVEX International NV, based in Kontich, Belgium, designs, manufactures, and installs explosion and fire protection systems for industries that process powders and bulk solids, including food processing, chemicals, energy, pharmaceuticals, and recycling. The product range covers explosion venting, explosion suppression, explosion isolation, spark and fire extinguishing, and COBRA grounding systems for electrostatic discharge protection during loading and unloading operations. Its explosion suppression systems combine detection units, such as the Detector PDS and Detector PDP, with a Flash Control Unit and Flash Suppression Bottle to detect and suppress explosions within milliseconds. Typical applications include mills, mixers, dust collectors, dryers, bucket elevators, and conveying systems. STUVEX states that its solutions are designed to comply with ATEX, DSEAR, NFPA, and EN standards. The company has operated for over 50 years and became part of the STIF Group on July 1, 2025.
