Tetra Pak Powder Handling is the part of Tetra Pak, a Switzerland-headquartered food processing and packaging company, that covers equipment for food powder production. The portfolio spans bag tipping and Big Bag discharging, screening and sifting, pneumatic conveying, dosing and weighing, dry mixing and blending, powder packing, and Big Bag filling, along with cleaning solutions for powder mixers. Equipment such as the Bag Tipping Unit CIP and Big Bag Discharger is built to handle bags from two kilograms to two tons of free-flowing granulated or powdered ingredients. Tetra Pak states it maintains more than 5,000 recipes and operates two Product Development Centers, in Gorredijk, Netherlands and Cholet, France, for powder process development. Target applications include ingredient powders such as milk, whey, and plant-based powders, nutritional powders including infant formula, and powdered food and drink products.
