Glatt GmbH, headquartered in Binzen, Germany, designs and manufactures process equipment based on fluidized bed and spouted bed technology. The company traces its fluid bed work back to 1959, when it built one of the first fluid bed dryers used in the pharmaceutical industry, and has since extended the technology to granulation, coating, pelletizing, and micro-encapsulation. Glatt's product range spans laboratory-scale units such as the Mini-Glatt and GPCG.Lab up to production-scale systems such as the WSG PRO and GPCG PRO, which process batches from 5 to 1,500 kilograms. The company also offers continuous processing lines, including the AGT series for spray granulation and agglomeration and the GF and GF ModFlex multi-chamber systems. Glatt serves the pharmaceutical, food, feed, fine chemical, cosmetics, and battery materials industries, and states it has completed more than 17,000 projects in over 160 countries from 18 locations worldwide.
