Built for Tough Conditions
The housing is rugged welded steel plate with external bracing for heavy-duty workloads. Large doors and a hydraulic rear section give full access to the internal liners, which simplifies inspection and maintenance. The doors open hydraulically with a secure over-center mechanism that prevents accidental closure.
The 1¼-inch-thick wear liners share a common shape, giving about 95% interchangeability. That maximizes liner use, extends service life, and saves cost.
Apron and Rotor Design
The monoblock front apron is a forged manganese unit with an optional lower wear liner. Its added weight and wear zones reduce stress on the housing, improve product size control, cut downtime, and lower costs. The rear apron uses a multiblock manganese design, also fitted with a wear-resistant liner for longer life and better control of the product output.
At the core sits the heavy-duty Q rotor. Blow bars attach with a solid backing bar and wedge, so they can be rotated and reused — utilization can exceed 50%, which improves wear life and efficiency.
Grinding Path for Cement Applications
An optional grinding (third crushing) path refines the output for vertical roller mills and improves control over product grading. Adjustable steps and hydraulic retraction protect against overload and tramp iron, which supports safety, productivity, and uptime.
HAZtronic Control and Monitoring
